Terms
Terms of business.
How Worpra works with you, from first enquiry to handover. Your quote carries the price and specification for your job; these terms explain everything around it.
Last updated 27 July 2026.
Who you are contracting with
Worpra is a trading name of Ollo Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 05223301, registered office 188 Broughton Avenue, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, HP20 1PX. You can reach us at team@worpra.co.uk or 01296 841220.
When you accept a Worpra quote, your contract is with Ollo Limited. It is not with the installer who carries out the work. That is deliberate: if something goes wrong, you have one company to come back to.
What these terms cover
They apply to this website, to enquiries and estimates, and to any survey, quote or installation we carry out for you. Your quote covers the price, the specification and anything specific to your job. Where your quote and these terms disagree, your quote wins.
Nothing in these terms reduces your legal rights as a consumer.
Calculator estimates
The calculator gives a screening estimate from published assumptions. It is not a quote, it does not create a contract, and it cannot see your roof. Every constant and formula behind it is on the assumptions page, so you can check our working before you trust the number.
Survey
We survey before we quote. The surveyor checks roof condition, pitch and shading, the loft space, your consumer unit, meter and existing electrics, access for scaffolding, and where a battery could safely go. We need access to those areas on the day.
If the survey shows that solar or a battery is a poor fit for your home, we will tell you and we will not quote. Any charge for a survey is stated before we book it.
Your quote
Quotes are fixed and itemised after the survey. Yours will set out the scope of work, the hardware and model numbers, what is included and excluded, the assumptions behind any savings figures, the total price, the VAT position, the payment stages, the guarantee periods, and how long the price holds.
The price changes only if you change the scope, or if we find something that could not reasonably have been seen at survey. If that happens we stop, tell you what we found and what it means, and agree the change with you in writing before carrying on. You can say no and pay only for the work already done.
When the contract starts
When you accept the quote and we confirm your acceptance in writing. Until then either of us can walk away without owing the other anything.
Your right to cancel
Quotes are agreed in your home or at a distance, so you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of the contract starting, without giving a reason. We give you a cancellation notice and a cancellation form with your contract. You can use the form, or simply tell us in writing that you have changed your mind.
If you want work to start inside those 14 days, you need to ask us to. You keep the right to cancel, but you pay a proportion of the price for what we have already done. If you asked us to complete the work inside the 14 days and we have completed it, the right to cancel ends.
We refund anything you have paid, less any work already done at your request, within 14 days of you telling us you are cancelling.
Price and VAT
Domestic solar and battery installations are currently zero-rated for VAT until 31 March 2027. That is the government's deadline, not a sales tactic. Your quote states the VAT position that applies to your job.
If the VAT rules change between your quote and your installation, the price changes only to reflect that, and we tell you in writing before any work goes ahead.
Paying
Your quote sets out the deposit and the payment stages. We do not ask for the full price before the work is done.
Who does the work
Worpra designs the system, manages the job and inspects the result. The installation is carried out by an MCS-certified installer working as our subcontractor, chosen from the firms that have passed our checks. You can read how we vet installers, including what happens when an installer fails a check.
Whoever stands on your roof, your contract stays with us and so does the responsibility.
What we need from you
| Access | Access to the property on the agreed dates, and space for scaffolding and a van where the job needs it. |
|---|---|
| Permissions | Tell us if your home is listed, in a conservation area, leasehold or subject to a covenant, so we can check what is needed before quoting. |
| On the day | Someone aged 18 or over on site, pets kept clear of the work, and the loft and consumer-unit area cleared enough to work safely. |
| Existing faults | We flag problems we find, such as failing roof timbers or unsafe electrics, but we are not responsible for putting right faults that were there before we started unless your quote says we are. |
| Decisions | Answers within a reasonable time when we need a decision from you, so the job does not stall. |
If we cannot work on the day because access was not available and you did not tell us in advance, we may need to re-book and pass on unavoidable costs such as scaffolding. We tell you before we charge anything.
Delays
Some things are outside our control: weather, network operator response times, hardware supply, or finding asbestos or structural problems once work starts. When a delay happens we tell you promptly and agree a new date. If a delay is long and it matters to you, you can cancel and get back anything you have paid for work not yet done.
Paperwork after installation
Your handover pack includes the MCS certificate, the electrical installation certificate, evidence of the network operator notification, commissioning readings, handover photos, manuals and warranty documents. We check these are present before we sign the job off.
The Smart Export Guarantee is applied for through your electricity supplier rather than through us. We give you the paperwork you need to make that application.
Battery earnings
Battery earnings figures are modelled, not guaranteed. What a battery actually earns depends on its size, your tariff, grid conditions and which schemes are open at the time. Where a flexibility scheme is involved, that scheme's own terms apply between you and the scheme operator, and you can leave it. You keep your choice of electricity supplier. There is more detail on how battery earnings work.
Guarantees and your legal rights
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 the work must be carried out with reasonable care and skill, and the equipment must be as described and of satisfactory quality. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.
On top of that, your quote states the workmanship guarantee period for your job, and lists the manufacturer warranty period for each piece of hardware.
Guarantees do not cover damage caused by later work by somebody else, alterations, misuse, storm or accidental damage, which is an insurance matter, or the gradual performance decline that manufacturers state as normal for panels and batteries.
If you sell your home, tell us. We will do what we can to transfer or reassign the guarantees, though manufacturer terms vary and some cannot be transferred.
If something goes wrong
Tell us. Our complaints procedure sets out how to raise it, how quickly we respond and what to do if you are still not satisfied.
Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking this contract or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude.
We supply to homeowners for domestic use. If you use the system for a business, we are not liable for business losses such as lost profit or lost production.
Using this website
The website is information, not advice for your specific home. Figures such as tariff rates and scheme values change, and we update them when they do. The content, design and calculator are ours; please do not copy them for commercial use.
Your data
What we collect and why is set out in the privacy notice.
Law and where disputes are heard
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring court proceedings in England and Wales, or in Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
Changes to these terms
We update these terms as the business changes. The version that applies to your job is the one in force when you accepted your quote. The date at the top of the page shows the last change.
