What we collect

From the enquiry form. Your name, email address, phone number if you give one, postcode, which service you are interested in, your message, and the page you sent the enquiry from.

From the calculator, only if you ask us to email your breakdown. The figures your inputs produced: annual electricity use, system size, estimated generation, modelled bill saving, modelled battery earnings and the ten-year table. The calculator itself runs in your browser. If you never submit a form, nothing you type into it reaches us.

From campaign links. If you arrive through a marketing link, the campaign values in that link are recorded with your enquiry so we know where it came from.

Automatically, when a form is submitted. How long the form was open before you sent it, and the contents of a hidden field that people do not see. Both are used to filter out automated spam. Our server also reads your IP address and immediately converts it into a one-way hashed value used only to limit how many enquiries can come from one connection. The IP address itself is not stored.

We do not ask for special category data. Please do not put health, financial or other sensitive details in the message box: we do not need them to answer an enquiry. The website is written for homeowners and is not aimed at children.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

Where we rely on legitimate interests we have weighed that interest against your rights. The data is limited to what you sent us, it is not used to profile you, and you can object at any time.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use website enquiries for marketing email. If that changes, we will ask you first.

Who else handles it

Who	What they do
Google Cloud	Hosts the website, receives the enquiry and stores it. We use Firebase Hosting, Cloud Run and Cloud Firestore, configured in Google's London region.
Resend	Delivers the enquiry alert to our team and, if you asked for it, your calculator breakdown. We use Resend's Ireland sending region. Resend itself is a United States company.
Google Workspace	Runs the Worpra mailboxes that enquiry alerts and your replies arrive in.
Google Analytics	Measures website usage. Loaded only if you accept analytics in the cookie banner.
Installation partners	If your enquiry becomes a survey, quote or installation, the assigned installation team is given what it needs to do the work — your name, address, contact details and system details, and nothing more. We tell you who they are before we pass anything on.

Our service providers act on our instructions under a written contract. We may also share personal data with our professional advisers where necessary, or where the law requires us to.

Where your data is stored

The website, the enquiry service and the enquiry records are in Google's London region, in the United Kingdom. Email sent to you or to us is delivered through Resend's Ireland region, in the European Economic Area.

Some processing still happens outside the UK and the EEA, mainly in the United States: Google Analytics if you accept it, and the support and administration work our providers carry out on their own systems. Where that happens we rely on the transfer safeguards in those providers' standard data protection terms — the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or the UK extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Ask us and we will tell you which applies to a particular provider.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a quote or installation	24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted.
Enquiries that lead to a quote, survey or installation	6 years after the work ends, so we can answer warranty, insurance, tax and dispute questions.
Emails about your enquiry in our mailbox	Deleted on the same schedule as the enquiry they relate to.
Rate-limiting hashes	Expire 2 hours after the last enquiry from that connection, then removed by automatic deletion, usually within 24 hours of expiring.
Google Analytics data	14 months, then deleted automatically by Google.

Analytics and cookies

This site loads no analytics and sends no analytics requests unless you accept analytics in the banner. If you accept, Google Analytics is loaded with IP anonymisation turned on and records events such as calculator completion and enquiry submission.

Your accept or decline choice is kept in your browser's local storage so the banner does not keep reappearing. It contains only that choice.

You can also clear this site's stored data in your browser settings, which has the same effect.

Automated decisions

We do not make decisions about you by automated means and we do not profile you. The calculator produces a screening estimate that you run yourself; it decides nothing about you and it is not a quote.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• correct anything that is wrong or incomplete
• delete your data, where we no longer need it for the purpose we collected it for
• restrict how we use it while a question about it is being resolved
• send you, or another provider, a portable copy of the data you gave us
• stop using it, where we rely on legitimate interests — you can object at any time

You can also withdraw your analytics consent at any time, which does not affect anything measured before you withdrew it.

To use any of these, email team@worpra.co.uk or write to the address above. It is free. We reply within one month; if a request is complex we will tell you and may take up to two further months. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that we do not hand your data to somebody else.

Complaining

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, tell us first and we will look into it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK data protection regulator. Complaining to the ICO does not affect any other legal remedy available to you.
